Feb 9: Tocom Rubber Settles Up On Short Covering

[Dow Jones] Tocom rubber futures settle higher on short covering, strong physical demand, supported by positive leads from other commodities Also some buying on bargain hunting, says Thailand-based trading executive. Still unclear whether key psychological support at Y270 will be sustained during next few days, says Tokyo-based broker. Physical demand still there, but some buyers already on sidelines due to upcoming Lunar New Year holiday, say trading executives.
