U. Yong Group is a group of family operated business entities registered in Thailand. The group is operating in its 51th year in 2010.
In the year 1959, U. Yong Limited Partnership was founded as an import & export company trading mainly food and fresh fruit items. Since its inception, the company has handled various agricultural commodities, dried foodstuff, fresh fruits, popcorn, peas, edible nuts, etc. U. Yong is also one of the biggest exporters of coffee beans out of Thailand.
In the year 1994, the group diversified its business into manufacturing, setting up U. Yong Industry Company Limited. This business entity focuses on the manufacturing and exportation of rubber band and plastic bag. So far, the company has been able to establish its satisfied customer based worldwide.
The group is now employing approximately 300 employees with registered capital in excess of 100 million Bath (US$3 Million).
